Maddie Jackson
Maddie, also known as “Maddie’s Mundo” on social media, is a content creator, educator, and actress from southern California, USA. Maddie earned her degree in the Spanish language from San Diego State University, and has lived in Spain multiple times, both in Sevilla and Madrid.

Maddie specializes today in teaching the Spanish language and its diverse dialects across both Latin America and Spain, and believes that learning a language is most effective when connected to our casual, everyday lives.
Ruth Pascual
Ruth is a professional Spanish teacher from Madrid, Spain. Since 2018 she has taught students from all over the world and she has lived in Australia, Turkey, and the UK.

Ruth's love for travel and deep interest in connecting with local communities have been integral to her teaching approach. When can I start with the Language Gym?

All language gym classes are standalone, which means you can join and start practicing Spanish with others immediately!

When are the classes in the Language Gym?

The Language Gym has classes every weekday at 19:00 Spanish time.

How many classes can I attend?

All plans for the Spanish Language gym include unlimited monthly classes!

What happens in the classes?

In the classes, you'll be joined by a teacher and other students. The teacher will introduce the theme and the objectives for the class, depending on the type of class you signed up for. Once you've been given instructions you'll be separated into small groups with 2-4 other students to practice speaking and discussing the class topics together.

What if the classes are too hard or too easy?

Teachers will try to group you together with other students of similar ability. This way the bar is set according to your level!

What level of Spanish do I need?

No specific level is required, but you do need to be able to at least have simple conversations about basic topics, and follow along in simplified Spanish.
